Description

A still taken from the second short video based on my main SFM series, Cult of Personality, which is also a sequel to one of my previous vids, FYI I am a Robot. This short happens in between Chapter 4 and 5 so it could serve as a bridge between the two and help explain a few things in 5 which may end up being confusing once the Chapter is uploaded. This one is a mix of drama and humor but also show hints of horror and hope:

This short marks the first appearance of a mystical and mysterious group which will come to be known as Legion. Despite their appearance being the primary focus of the vid, the ending can be considered very important as it implies the possibility of peace between oWn and their current enemies, RED and BLU, since the oWn Medic was not blind to acts of kindness done by his enemies to his fellows. Nonetheless, Legion is shown to be noticeably dangerous, being able to turn one of the oWn Pyro bots against their allies. It remains to be seen if Legion will strike again, especially now that the Eyelander they're associated with is in oWn's possessions.

Full Synopsis:

"This scene was featured near the end of the vid. Before the events of the vid, Grey Mann noticed that oWn's numbers are increasing at a rate faster than he expected. Because of that, he ordered the oWn Medic to send out teams to find unusual and rare weapons around the world since he can't provide every oWn merc with weapons in time. To speed up the search, Medic managed one team while the oWn Engineer handles another. During this vid, they were looking for an unusually powerful Eyelander on a remote jungle island. They heard rumors about the island being haunted but took no heed to the warnings of anyone who had previously set foot on it.

The oWn FemScout, flanked by an oWn Heavy bot and Pyro bot, was tasked with searching for the ancient Eyelander. Little did she realized that a female RED Sniper, who stowed away on the same boat they were on, was following her this whole time. The RED Sniper continued to follow her, waiting patiently for the best time to assassinate her. However, plans changed when things did not happen as expected.

Upon picking up the Eyelander, the oWn FemScout was haunted by a Pyro's laughter and horrifying images of a ghostly Pyro, a masked Medic and a hooded Demoman, all staring at her with their head tilted, began flashing in her mind. She heard screams and voices speaking to her before the vision abruptly end with a scream. Regaining control of herself, the first thing she noticed was her Pyro bot follower shutting down, much to the Heavy bot's dismay. The Pyro bot reactivated itself seconds later but started laughing eerily before pointing its flamethrower at the FemScout and attempting to kill her. She dodged the flames but was too much in shock to react so she hid behind cover, hoping her Heavy bot bodyguard would help her. It didn't. Confused by his fellow's behavior, the Heavy bot decided to follow the Pyro and opened fire on the FemScout.

Taking advantage of the situation, the RED FemSniper was prepared to assassinate the oWn FemScout. However, her cries for help rang in her ears and unwilling to kill someone in a helpless position, she directed her aim towards the two berserk robots and silenced them with two arrows. Out of her good graces, the FemSniper approached the FemScout, who was still in shock and possibly injured, and offered to escort her back to the oWn boat.

Upon arrival, the FemSniper dropped off the oWn FemScout but not before the grateful oWn rebel was able to wave off some of her shock to show a smile of appreciation. She was attended to by an oWn Sniper (whose head was humorously transformed into an owl's due to a Medigun accident) while the oWn Medic and Scout looked at the FemSniper with suspicion. Realizing from her stance that she's genuine in her act, the Medic (through his bird head which he fused accidentally with Archimedes in said accident) smiled and walked away quietly while the Scout nodded and thanked the FemSniper for bringing his injured love interest back in one piece.

Upon hearing about the Pyro bot being responsible for the oWn FemScout's physical and mental injuries, the oWn Medic called out Grey Mann for his inefficient robots but their boss was unwilling to take blame, insisting that his bots are programmed specifically to take orders from anyone with the oWn logo on their uniforms. In the same message, however, Grey Mann did suggest that the Eyelander should be kept away from machinery of any form as the sword has been known to cause nearby machines to react erratically. It certainly implies that the Eyelander may be responsible for the Pyro bot's sudden aggressiveness..."
